How to choose your swimsuit according to your body type?

Every year the same question comes up; how to choose my swimsuit to be at the top this summer?

First of all, remember that your body shape has nothing to do with your weight. You can be thin or curvy whatever your figure.

To make it easier for you, we have created a small gguide according to the 5 body types.

I have a thin bust and pronounced hips.

For the top, opt for a bandeau swimming costume (Victoria) as it will enhance your bust and reshape your figure.

For the bottoms, we recommend a low-cut (Symi) or low-cut (Le Cap, Joali) to give the impression of slimmer legs.

Together, these two pieces give the effect of slimmer legs and highlight your bust. Don't hesitate to mix prints and plain colours for a modern look.

One-piece option: Hydra with its subtle neckline and sculpting lining.

I have broad shoulders and narrower hips

For this type of body shape, you need to enhance your bust. A triangle bra (Alonissos, Olivia) is ideal for this.

Low-cut necklines allow you to show off the width of your shoulders.

For the bottom, opt for a more covering shape to balance out the top and bottom (Mahé).

1-piece option: The Spetses second-skin with its wrap-around neckline for a stunning silhouette.

I have a small waist and hips and shoulders of the same width

With a so-called rectangle morphology, opt for a one-piece swimming costume to structure and feminise your figure (the Hydra tricolour for its sculpting effect, the Spetses second-skin for its neckline).

For two-piece swimwear, opt for a triangle bra (Alonissos, Olivia) combined with high-waisted pant (Kea, Mahé).

I have aligned hips and shoulders and a defined waist

Depending on the effect you want, you can opt for a triangle top (Alonissos, Olivia) or an underwired top (Aegina).

For bottoms, combine with classic panties (Symi) or low-cut panties (Le Cap, Joali, Kea) or go for a high waist (Mahé).

I have a generous chest, a little stomach and rounded shoulders.

For this type of body type, the one-piece swimming costume is ideal because it allows you to emphasise your waist and redefine your curves thanks to its sculpting effect (the Hydra tricolour).

If you have a generous bust, don't hesitate to show it off with a more pronounced neckline (the Spetses second skin).
